The food was amazing from classic burgers and hot dogs to grilled veggies, broccoli slaw, kale Caesar, potato salad, and more. With all the prep work from Winterim ramping up and classes continuing as usual, it's a busy time to be a Forman teacher. Imagine my delight, tired as I was, when I delved into the upscale-restaurant-quality chicken parmesan our dining hall served last night. I just wanted to send you a HUGE thank you for the extra care you and your staff have shown my son with his food allergies. Last year was terrific, he loves the food you cook and felt comfortable and confident to ask about what he could have. This was a big step for him as he has always carried huge anxiety about eating food outside the home. And not only did you cook foods that were safe for him, but you gave him a fun and creative mix. This year is even better. He came home one of the first days SO excited. As parents of a child with multiple food allergies we have grown accustomed to taking extra steps to keep him safe and to have food available that he likes. I cannot tell you what an utter relief and joy it is to know that [he] has a team of caring professionals at school that are helping us to not only keep him safe but also well fed and very happy!
