In 2024, the Heritage Hunt Board of Directors recognized the need to reinvigorate the food and beverage services within our 55+ active living community located in Northern Virginia. Following a competitive bidding process, the Board of Directors selected CulinArt as the new Food and Beverage partner with Heritage Hunt. On July 1, 2024, CulinArt came on board to manage all food and beverage operations. Despite significant challenges in the kitchen, CulinArt accepted these challenges head-on and in stride, hitting the ground running with a fourth of July picnic like none other seen previously at Heritage Hunt.

CulinArt Group Director of Culinary development, Chef Peter Klein, coordinated a tour with visually impaired students alongside @educationalvisionservices and @lighthouseguild

The purpose of the tour was to encourage students to participate in our summer job experience program.

The students toured the entire facility, we’re given the opportunity to ask questions about working in foodservice, were treated to lunch, and were able to hear from a manager who works at the account and is visually impaired himself. He shared his career path and words of encouragement.

The students loved the experience and many of them were interested in working for us over the summer.
